Hi U-tec team,

I’m a Smart Dimmer Switch (US01) owner using the Xthings Home app, and I’d like to request a minimum brightness (low-end trim) setting for the dimmer.

My LED wafer lights drop out (turn off) when dimmed below about 20%, so the bottom fifth of the dimming range is unusable — the lights cut out instead of dimming smoothly. Right now the app has no way to set a floor, so there’s no way to keep the dimmer from going into that dead zone.

Could you add a per-device minimum brightness setting in the app, so the dimmer’s lowest level can be set to match the lights (e.g., 20%)? This is a standard feature on other smart dimmers (Leviton, Kasa, and Lutron all offer low-end trim), and it would make the U-tec dimmer usable across the full range with LED loads.

Thanks for considering it,

Evan
