Hey everyone! 👋

We’ve got some exciting news for all Home Assistant users and smart home tinkerers here:

👉 According to a [press release from xThings](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/xthings-set-to-expand-home-assistant-support-for-smarter-home-automation-302439053.html), official support for **Z-Wave smart locks** , including Ultraloq models, will soon be expanded through Home Assistant’s native integration!

That means:

- ⚙ Easier configuration
- 🔒 More stable local control
- 🔄 Faster status syncing
- 🧩 No more complicated workarounds or HACS dependencies

We know many of you have been asking for better HA support (especially for PIN management and automation rules). This looks like a solid step in the right direction. 💬

While we can’t speak for HA’s roadmap directly, we’re actively gathering feedback from this community and working closely with tech partners to ensure smoother compatibility going forward.

**What this means for you:**

If you own a **Z-Wave version** of our Ultraloq smart locks (like the U-Bolt Z-Wave), you’ll likely benefit from this update once it rolls out. 🙌

I agree, it should be easier to integrate wifi than zwave. I have locks with G2 gateways and they work well with HA. Sucks that this feature is not available with Ultralock.
