I have the first generation UL1, and I love the concept. However, the fingerprint reader is often not good, and can take 10 toys before getting it right. I really wanted the Latch 5 just to upgrade to the better fingerprint technology (and a couple of other software features), but I don’t have space for it. Above the handle, the deadbolt is too close to allow for the Latch 5. Can you either make just a handle (like the UL1) with updated fingerprint tech, or can you make the Latch 5 in a version where the bulk of the unit would be below the drilled hole for the handle, instead of 7" tall, and most of it above the hole. Thanks.
