Auto lock not working when manually unlocked

Same issue here.
The red light doesn’t come on.
Tried the 10 times lock/unlock - didn’t do anything.

Removing and replacing the batteries worked for me too. Thanks

Same issue here with wifi version. Red light doesn’t always come on when manually unlocking. I have tried removing batteries to reset, put in fresh batteries, etc.
What is Utec doing to resolve this issue? Seems to be a widespread issue.

Yep, same problem here. Happened the first time after about 3 months. I removed then re-paired it and it worked again for about 2 months and now it’s not auto-locking again.

Came here to say, same. It’s Feb 20, 2025. Three days ago my Bolt Wifi Pro stopped auto locking…reliably. I can take out the batteries and reset the auto lock in the app and it will work once. And then not auto lock after that one time. Very alarming to return home to an unlocked lock. I went through the thread and only found a response that the technical support are working on it (that was from over a year ago) but not how to fix it. Anyone have the reliable fix for this problem?

Same. Door not auto locking and the door sensor not being recognized. Will work one time after unpairing.

Prior to the latest firmware wifi connection was hardly stable, but that’s is mostly resolved but it brought issues with auto lock and door sensor

U-tec needs to resolve this major security issue asap

Hello, I just experience this issue after a month of buying the product. Auto lock is the number one reason why I purchased this product.
I have the latest firmware version. The app says Locked but the device is unlocked. It used to make a beeping sound a few seconds after I open the door from the inside, now nothing and doesn’t lock after 30 seconds.
Is there a fix for this?

I am having this same issue in 2026, its been installed for about 2 months and twice now its stopped locking after you unlock manually and leave the house. Before I reinstalled it and it started working again, but who knows how long its not been working now again. This is very upsetting and unsafe.
