Lock jamming after battery replacement

I have had this lock for about a year, maybe longer. Last year, the battery went dead while I was on vacation and when I hit home I had to call a locksmith to get me back in my house because nothing would work, even plugging in the power bank - I now have a lockbox with the key. The lock worked fine after changing the batteries. A few months later, the batteries went dead again, ever since, there is now an issue with the door jamming. It bakes this awful grinding noise and the app says it’s jammed. Not sure how to resolve this issue considering it worked perfectly fine until I changed the batteries.
