Tamper proof cover for interior knob

Can a slide on cover be created for the interior assembly that protects the knob from being tampered via a dog door? I imagine a simple design, that slides onto the interior assembly, which covers the knob on three sides (would need a left and right version). This would prevent tampering from a dog door ie potential intruders cannot simply use a lever from outside to push the knob to the open position. This would be an ideal solution for me versus a double barrel deadlock which I do not want to use, and still allows simple engagement from the inside when needing to unlock
