Latch 3: how will it support PIN and have any ANSI / BHMA certifications?

Hello. This may not be the right sub-forum to ask in, but it seemed closest.

  1. Will the upcoming Latch 3 support PIN? The product page says Latch 3 works with PINs, but there are no numerical buttons on the Latch 3 product photos. If true, how would the Latch 3 work with PINs? Through the Ultraloq app? We are thinking of guest PINs and things like that, but guests may not have the Ultraloq app.

  1. I noticed the upcoming Latch 7 advertises BHMA / ANSI certifications. Will the Latch 3 also have any such certifications? I could not seen this mentioned.

Thank you kindly.

On another note, I am very glad to see a number of Ultraloq products will be Aliro certified. I don’t mind the Latch 3 is NFC (instead of NFC+UWB), as we are adding smart locks only in low-traffic areas to test. But hopefully we will see more UWB models / upgrades in the future.

The Aliro-certified models are the Latch 3, Latch 5 Pro, Latch 7, Latch 7 Pro, and Bolt Pro
