Primary question: Why should i stick with ultraloq? What improvements have been made with the newer models? Specifically the “Bolt Pro”. Will the finger print reader eventually beep all night long like our current ultraloq’s?
Current Issues:
* u-bolt pro bridged - Finger print reader beeps all day and night right now (we live in FL). The thing that really aggravates me is there is no way to tell it to shut up! I thought turning off the locking sounds might do it, but no. The finger print reader works, its just incredibly annoying! We literally have to leave a paper towel on the inside handle to vigorously wipe it, ONLY to get a few hours of silence. At this point I would be happy with disabling the finger print reader all together, but there is no way to do that!
u-bolt pro+wifi - This sits on our garage side door. It’s constantly dead because it eats through batteries without even being used. So now it’s a simple dead bolt.
Both have been RMA’d at least once. And i have a 3rd in the garage that just died all together.
Ultraloq, please restore my faith. I want to go with the newer models but what reassurance do i have that these won’t suffer from the same problems.
PS - I would have created a support case, but the app doesn’t show a serial number for my single working smart lock.
