Will Bolt NFC work with a WiFi bridge?

Will the Bolt NFC work with an ultraloq wifi bridge?

I have a space with (4) bolt NFC (Apple) and I have another space with an older u-bolt fingerprint. I have recently gotten a bolt mission to replace the old fingerprint. Can I use the older WiFi bridge in the house with the (4) NFC’s and connect to them remotely that way? I would like to turn off the WiFI on each Bolt NFC and save battery, but it would be good to still remote connection when needed.

Hi, we have replied to you in the ticket 541161, and please check your email inbox later.

For anyone else needing this answer, no, the bolt NFC apple home version cannot ever use a bridge… so you are stuck using WiFi and replacing batteries every few weeks or cutting the remote connection.

U-Tec is telling me that my battery drain is somehow related to my router. That it isn’t compatible with the bolt NFC lock. I am not sure how that is even possible. I have the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands separated, and the locks use the 2.4GHz. The signal is strong at all locks. I don’t understand what about a router would make it incompatible with a WiFi device.

but regardless, there is apparently no way to save battery, use Bluetooth and a bridge and still communicate with the locks to change codes, etc. you need to physically be present to either A) connect with them via Bluetooth locally, or B) change batteries like changing diapers…
